General Contracting

 General Contracting is a delivery method where the owner has typically hired designers to provide all design documents needed to construct the project.  The owner hires the contractor for a fixed price to construct the project based on the completed design.  This method of delivery has been around for a long time.  This method works well with projects for which the owner wants a fixed price for construction, but the scope or complexity requires designs be completed to obtain this.
