Construction Management

 Construction Management is a delivery method in which the contractor, or construction manager (CM), is hired by the owner, typically at or before, the design phase.  They are responsible for management of the planning, design and construction of the project.  They work closely with the designer(s) to provide budgeting and estimating during the design phase as well as provide input on costs and construction materials and techniques.  The CM typically performs their services for a set fee and often has a guaranteed maximum price.  This method works very well for complex projects, phased projects and renovations.
